Trying Times

I would have to say that the most trying times are when Cayle doesn't get her way. If there is something that she wants to do and I tell her that she can't, the non-stop fussing starts. She goes on and on. It is so hard to listen to this and I try not saying anything, I try talking to her,  I try telling her to please stop...nothing helps. She will not stop until she is ready to stop and it is so energy draining.

  1. Hello. I came accross blog from the MckLinky Blog Directory. My daughter is 8 years old. She was diagnosed with ADHD at age 5 but we knew she had it since she was just a toddler. We are going through a very similar situation you are going thru. Every parent - teacher conference we go to always seem to be a negative one. There are days when I say things to my daughter and realized I shouldn't of said that or mommy really need a time out and not my daughter. I get very frustrated most of the time. It's hard and I do my best but she just can be very difficult. For years now all I hear from counselors or her teachers is that I need to set a positive example for my daughter. I do my best. No progress though. Anyways, thanks for starting your blog. Most of the time I feel like I am the only parent with a child who has ADHD/ OR behavioral problems. It's good to know I am not alone and either is my daughter.
